Bonding Over Basketball

Although the Bolles girls varsity basketball team lost their game in the regional semifinals to Fernandina, their memories of the team and of the season still stand strong and happy.

Hollin Hakimian (‘19), a shooting guard, said that her best memory from this season was “their home pre-game meals because they got to eat delicious food and hang out and laugh together”.

Hollin’s favorite part about being on the team is “how close the team is”.  Although they were not able to pull out a win, their bonds will stay close.

Similarly, Catie Murphy (‘19), also a shooting guard, said, “We have grown really close this season and can always rely on each other”.

Team bonding is a big aspect of the sport and the Bolles girls basketball team will continue to succeed as a close-knit group in the coming years.
