If your first period class reads the announcements, you probably already know that March is National Women’s History Month. The month was designated to celebrate and honor women’s history by Congress in 1987.

Here at Bolles, the Free and Equal Club is leading the celebration. The club is sharing inspirational and thought-provoking quotes in the announcements each day this month, as well as music to be played between classes on Fridays.

Club member, Isabella Array (‘17) shares some of the club’s plans for the month, “We’re thinking of doing a legacy walk with famous women like how the Black Student Union is doing with famous black people.”

She continues, “And we’re going to have women who went to the Women’s March come and talk with us.”
