Daniel Waheed

16 year old junior, Daniel Waheed, explains that he chose to bring in glasses to represent himself, as they help him keep an open mind. He states that his glasses “help him view the world through a lens of clarity.” 

Waheed then talked about adjusting to the new school as a boarder. When asked about how it felt to live away from his parents, Waheed said, “It is not that difficult living away from my family. Since we both live in Florida, it is comforting to know that they are close by.” 

The student recalls experiences with his family back in Panama City stating that he “hopes to see them again,” but is enjoying his time on the Bugle staff as an open minded writer.
