Can you describe the experience of studying abroad?

My brother and sister came here before me and they were very honest with me. They told me it would be hard and really different but if I take it the right way, I’ll enjoy it. Each year is different because boarders come and go and the dorms are constantly improving. I have learned about other cultures. Boarders from Japan, they are serious but nice and really great friends. Someone from Latin America, I know they’re gonna be fun. But this is my fourth year here and I let each year be a surprise.

What is your favorite word in English?

Persevere. Because of what it means and how it sounds. I learned it in a vocab lesson and I’ve never forgotten it.
