What was it like being at school during Hurricane Matthew?

We didn’t have a feeling of the wind but the electricity went off. We went a weekend without electricity or internet. But it was kind of fun because it pushed us to communicate with each other more. Because it was so boring, we did a lot of fun things together. We played a Chinese card game called sheshiwodi, or “Who is the Spy?”. We can play that all day and the more people, the more fun. And we played poker.

What is it like going to school in another country?

There is nothing strange because I studied in China in an International school for one year. We were half Chinese students and half students from Korea, America, Poland, and some other countries. But I was used to the Western teaching model with more discussions during class.
