The Bolles School San Jose Campus the soup in the Canteen and Cafeteria is all the buzz. The mastermind behind the delicious soup is Chef Bunly.

Chef Bunly has been working at Bolles for 7 years, and has a remarkable background.

Originally born in Cambodia, Chef Bunly moved to Canada when he was 18 years old. Then, from Canada he moved to the United States. He worked in the restaurant business “in New York City for 30 years” said Chef Bunly. Then he moved to Jacksonville and started working for Bolles.

After interviewing several students in the canteen, I learned how much the students enjoy the soup.

“The Broccoli Cheddar soup is pretty good. I’ve been impressed with it” said Quinn Kelly (18’).

“I look forward to getting the soup everyday. It’s perfect for a cold day because it really warms you up” said Jessica Pentel (18’).

Chef Bunly has been making the scrumptious soup “for about two years” said Bunly. The students on campus hope he continues making the delicious soup.

The soup soup is “a party for my tastebuds” said Tai-Tai Scherer (18’).
