The Baker’s Dozen at Bolles

The Bolles School was delighted with the performance of Yale University’s a cappella group Baker’s Dozen.  With a comical introduction, in which members of the group mocked their chosen major, the performance began with happy spirits and lots of laughs.

Comedy is not their only talent, however.  They dazzled students with their beautiful and rich voices.  The group even had coordinated dances and actions.

The Whitehurst campus was in attendance of the performance.  The kids were smiling and swaying with the harmonies and rhythm of the Baker’s Dozen’s voices.

“It was good.  They were funny and it reminded me of the performance you would see in the colonial dome at Epcot,” said Patterson Guyton ‘20.

However, some believed that the performance should not have been mandatory.  “I thought it was really nice; but I think if it was optional, people would still go, so I don’t see why this needed to be mandatory,” proclaimed Salma Shaalan.

Overall, the performance was enjoyed by all and the Baker’s Dozen was met with resounding applause.
