Athlete of the Month- Erika Clark

Erika Clark, senior and current kicker on the Varsity Football team, has been nominated Athlete of the Month. Erika had the opportunity to kick with the former Jacksonville Jaguar player Josh Scobee. Scobee was practicing at Bolles, and Erika joined him on the field.

Clark smiles and states, “It was fun! He was just leaving, but was so nice and stuck around and his holder, who also is a punter stayed, and a couple other guys came out, and helped us.”

Scobee stayed and kicked with Erika, and gave her some pointers. Clark mentioned she was talking about her form and said “I do this, this,and this. And he was like yep thats right.”

Erika said that her experience with Scobee was great. She mentioned the “he’s funny, laid back, and really nice”.

The Bolles Football team, with a record of 9-2, will compete against Raines, who beat the Bulldogs earlier this season, on Thursday in the Regional Finals.
