The magic of Walt Disney World does not die with time. If anything, the enchantment continues to blossom. The happiest place on Earth only gets happier when one visits with their significant other or spouse.

Janet and Rick

“We had a friend who was an architect, so we were at the park before the big ball was even built,” said Janet when asked how many years she had been visiting Epcot.

She and her husband Rick have been members of Disney’s Vacation Club for fifteen years, even though they live 1,000 miles away in Michigan.

“It’s always beautiful…it’s just a great family thing,” said Rick.

Walt Disney World has been the setting of many special memories over the course of their 37- year marriage, including multiple family reunions and their oldest son’s engagement.

“He got his fiance’s entire family to come down and surprise her. It was a big event we’ll always remember,” said Rick.

Amina and Steven

They have only been together for two months but seemed absolutely enthralled with each other as they sat under an awning at a cafe and chatted for the better part of an hour. Stephen is a Florida resident and visited Disney often as a kid, as did Amina, who traveled from her home in Massachusetts.

“Disney has gotten better as we’ve gotten older…we love the other side of Disney,” said Stephen.
